Can't work out why you are not able to see your ebook?
Have a look through the following points to see if any of these might be the cause.

How do I know if my ebook is Flash?
Flash ebooks are viewed using a browser like Internet Explorer so the ebook link you clicked to view the ebook will call a page with a file extension of .htm or .html
Why can't I see anything?
There can be several reasons for this...
- Do you have the latest Flash Player installed on your computer? If you don't know, follow this link to the Adobe website and download it anyway, it is free and will inform you when it is successfully downloaded and installed.

Are you using a dial-up modem to connect to the internet?
If this is the case you will probably be seeing an ebook of blank pages which you can turn the page on but there is nothing on them. This is because these ebooks are really only suitable for Broadband internet connections. What you see is the "blank canvas" which loads very quickly while the actual page content that populates the blank canvas takes longer to download.
- Are your security settings too high on Internet Explorer?
This will block "active" content from being displayed because it thinks it might be a risk. To fix this go to the Tool menu on your browser > internet options > security and with internet selected choose "custom level". You'll need to enable ActiveX controls.
How do I make my ebook fit on the screen?
We build all our ebooks to fit a screen resolution of 1024x768, so the chances are if you think the ebook is too big for your screen, it is probably because you have a screen resolution of 800x600. This link explains how you can changes your screen resolution.
How do I know if my ebook is DNL?
DNL ebooks are packages as stand-alone applications which launch from either an "executable" file (a file ending in .exe) or a .dnl file (native to the DNL software which creates the ebook
Why wont it open?
There can be several reasons for this...
Firstly are you using a Mac or a PC?
DNL ebooks are for PC only.
Secondly, if you are on a PC and still having problems check whether the file you are trying to open is a .exe or a .dnl because these ebooks can be either and the solution can depend on which.
- If it is an .exe then the chances are your computer's firewall is blocking you from opening this file because it thinks it might be a threat. To remedy this you will need to either speak to your administrator if you are a part of a network, or check your security settings on your anti-virus software if it's your home PC.
- For .dnl files, you will need a DNL Reader which interprets the file and displays it for you. Once you have downloaded and installed this reader it will work for all future DNL ebooks. Follow this link to download DNL reader.
How do I make my ebook fit on the screen?

The ebook has taken over my whole screen...?
This means the ebook has a default background fill colour. You can trun this on and off by holding down the Ctrl + B on your keyboard.
